Ashley Saha began her professional education studying Experimental Psychology at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA with a desire to gain a deeper understanding of people. Ashley would soon realize her true passion was not just to understand people but to support them in feeling better, with this realization she went on to pursue a Master's degree at Bryn Mawr College in Clinical Social Work. Ashley achieved her License to practice social work in PA in 2009 and her highest clinical license in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2011. Ashley has worked in community mental health agencies, private practices and private companies providing clinical therapeutic services to children, adults, groups, and families. She has done advanced training in non-directive child therapies, filial therapy, family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma informed care.
With over 12 years of clinical experience, Ashley is currently able to provide clinical services remotely through Open Door Counseling. Ashley believes that therapy shouldn't be a luxury but should be available to anyone who needs it in an effort to support this ideal Ashley founded Open Door Counseling a remote counseling practice operating in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Through Open Door Counseling Ashley can provide secure, confidential mental health counseling to older teens and adults through HIPAA compliant audio/visual platform as well as over the phone, which allows individuals to access mental health services from where ever they are and without having to leave the comfort of their own home.
